| Rules and Regulations |
| a) |
The competition is open to all residents living in Jalan Kayu Division and invited schools and institutes located within Jalan Kayu Division. Proof of residency shall be based on the record shown in your National Registration Identity Card as at closing date. Proof of participation through schools or institutes within Jalan Kayu Division shall be based on the enrolment cards (student cards) as at closing date. |
| b) |
The entry designs should be of original creations and participants shall indemnify the organizer of any breach of copyright infringement that may arise in future. For participants below 21 years of age, written consent of parent / guardian to participate in the competition shall be required and he /she shall undertake the said indemnity. |
| c) |
Participants should provide a short explanation for their design, concept, color(s) representation(s) etc. |
| d) |
Each entry submitted shall include full name as in NRIC/Passport, NRIC/Passport number, residential address, contacts and participants from schools or institutes within Jalan Kayu Division must also indicate student identity number, name of school or institution and year or class of study. Each participant can submit only one entry. |
| e) |
Entries submitted electronically should be at least 300dpi/10cm x 10cm in size using common recognised file formats, files that cannot be opened shall be disqualified, more than one file can be submitted for this purpose. Alternatively, entries can be submitted in A4 size and mounted on A3 cardboard at Hwi Yoh Community Centre. |
| f) |
The competition closing date is 30 April 2010. Winner will be notified by email or post. Winner will be invited to collect the cash prize of S$800.00 during the official launch of the logo. |
| g) |
Entries submitted will remain as the property of Hwi Yoh Community Centre. The organizer reserves all rights to make changes and amendments to the design and/or colour(s) of the logo. The organizer will be allowed full control of the use of the logo. |
| h) |
The organizer reserves all rights and discretions to revise the above stated rules and regulations without notice. |
